Well my boys and I are going to the mayor's house Gather up your kids and grab your spouse Who's afraid of a little flu? A little blood cough is nothing that you cant get through I'm sick of wearing masks, miss the hustle and the bustle Whats a few thousands dead? We'll do the quarantine shuffle Got a rifle in my hand and a picket sign Freedom = work is my bottom line Got my boys and the cameras with me I need a haircut I'm looking like a goddamn hippie IF you think I'm doing wrong we can get into a scuffle Fuck your grandma, babe, let's do the quarantine shuffle Well I hate my kids and I hate my wife and I'm starting to think Jack Torrance was right Don't give a damn If the sick get sicker We gotta get to work So the rich can get richer

To be a queen in a palace built from trash Is to still be a queen And to be a priest to the perverted Is to still lead a flock of sheep So we'll raise a song of hope To my filthy pope and we'll let our voices ring Oh Divine, Divine You showed me how beautiful ugly could be Divine, Divine If filth were a kingdom, you'd be the queen Divine, Divine, Personified anarchy If only we could be so free Who'd have ever thunk A Baltimore bunch would be the ones who made it And who'd have ever thought So much Hell be wrought By a drag queen eating dog shit So we'll raise a song of hope To my filthy pope and let our voices ring Oh Divine, Divine You showed me how beautiful ugly could be Divine, Divine If filth were a kingdom, you'd be the queen Divine, Divine, Personified anarchy If only we could be so free To Dawn Davenport and Edna Turnblad And everyone she could be inbetween Dreamland to Cockettes Cocaine and private jets You are an icon to me

I promise, I promise If I tell you it's looking grim It isn't you, it isn't me but it's the state of the world we live in My fingers bleed from nervous habits and these guitar strings And sometimes I feel more reclusive than the goddamned mothman But I've got my friends And we've got everything we need Our clothes are dirty Our shoes are muddy and we're only trying to have a good time Everything worth trying is scary and learning from life is hard No amount of santy clauses or tooth fairies can make that change Our lives are a theater forged in blood and dirt and we're so well trained we'll stay in a room filled with poison If every exit says "use another door" But I've got my friends And we've got everything we need Our clothes are dirty Our shoes are muddy and we're only trying to have a good time

Brick houses, brick churches, dead grass and blissful ignorance Old trees, empty mills, stray dogs and broken leaves My schools, my home, tool shacks, and beat up Chevorlets God is in all of you But the Devil is with me Brick houses, brick churches, dead grass and blissful ignorance Old trees, empty mills, stray dogs and broken dreams My schools, my home, tool shacks, and beat up Chevorlets God lives in all of you But the Devil lives in me

I was feeling worn in No matter what I couldn't win It seemed the deck was stacked against my hand I'd folly and I'd fret Like one sock was always wet Until my savior taught me how to stand Now every single day I live a more fulfilling way And I'll sing his praises in my little band So join me if you will Let your voices spill To Lucifer, the lord of all the land The bringer of light, the bringer of light Was there when no one else was there for me He shone through the night The Morning Star is bright Thank you, Lucifer, you rescued me Many years ago, I'd turn up my nose At believing things that weren't in front of me Until the Lord of Flies, opened up my eyes With Promethean flames, and now I see The bringer of light, the bringer of light Was there when no one else was there for me He shone through the night The Morning Star is bright Thank you, Lucifer, you rescued me

Go to Heaven for comfort Hell for conversation The bar to forget and church for condemnation I sit in my room, and my mind starts to wander In a chair, spun out, looking at the wall I don't think this is what they had in mind When they died for freedom for all Go to Heaven for comfort Hell for conversation The bar to forget and church for condemnation Saint Peter ain't gonna take my soul At least in Hell they'll have some rock and roll
8.
When I was younger really thought I figured it all out The only thing I knew was how to run my mouth I always thought that everything was ruled by random chances I was just a product of my ego and my circumstances It's easy being blind if you have never seen the light But once you've opened up it's hard to get it back inside We've swallowed lies and propaganda from a TV set But you're quick to throw up poison in the times you FEED YOUR HEAD
9.
I'm dreaming of a world where our bodies aren't prisons Where our minds can roam free And we'll be who we wanna be No fear and division Nothing to be hid No cops killing kids And everyone has got enough to eat But the powers that be They don't want us free They'd rather have us dying from preventable disease When we were growing up, we were always taught To stand up for what you believe, no better battle's fought But when you believe something that they don't They'd rather have you lying Than dissenting in their home I've seen a lot of things I've done a lot of drugs I've lived like a retired rock star no one's heard of I may not know a lot But one thing that is true The world might be burning down But it's a better place Because of you
